Booking Terms and Conditions
Payment of your deposit confirms your
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
Booking:
The
reservation must be made by a member of the group occupying the villa for
the duration of the holiday.
The person
must be of 21 years or over and have the authority to agree the terms and
conditions on the behalf of all the members of the travelling party.
Either a
confirmation by fax, post or e-mail accepting the terms and conditions of
the booking form by a member of the party shall be binding on all persons
that are intending to occupy the villa. Only one person needs to sign the
acceptance form on behalf of the party.
In
accordance with local licensing laws, the maximum occupancy of the property
is 10.
The occupants
agree:
1.
Not to smoke within the building to maintain a
pleasant odour free environment for all present & future guests and their
children.
2.
To indemnify for all damages or loss to the
property, its fixtures and fittings or contents during the rental period.
This list is not exhaustive and not limited just to the value of the
security deposit.
3.
To look after the home and leave it in a tidy
condition at the end of the period.
4.
To allow the owners, agents or any one granted
permission by the owner’s reasonable access to the property if so necessary,
for example for inspection or maintenance carried out by, for instance, the
gardener, pool man etc
5.
To pay for the cost of Pool heating, if
required. A request must be made for this and paid for with the final
payment, This is so that arrangements can be made in advance. For pool

INSURANCE
It is the occupant’s responsibility to ensure that they and all the other
members of their group are suitably covered with insurance, especially for
cancellation, personnel property and medical cover in the USA.
Deposit to
Reserve:
A
non-refundable deposit of £130.00 per week is required at the time of the
booking confirmation together with a completed booking form.
This deposit
will be deducted from the final balance, which must be paid 8 weeks prior to
the planned date of arrival.
Full payment
is required if the planned date of arrival is less than 8 weeks. In this
case a completed booking form and arrangements for payment made at that
time. The confirmation of the booking will be notified on receipt of the
full payment.
Method of
Payment:
We shall
cater for most type of payment, generally an instruction to have the money
transferred directly to our bank.
Cancellations:
All
cancellations must be made in writing.
Following
rules will apply.

Full refund
minus the reservation deposit will be made if cancelled greater than 8
weeks (57 days plus) prior to arrival date.

Between 6-8
weeks (43 to 56 days) prior to planned arrival date then 50% of rental
charge unless the reservation charge is greater in which case the refund
will be abated by the difference.

Between 4-6
weeks (28 to 42 days) prior to planned arrival date then 30% of rental
charge.

Less than 4
weeks prior to planned arrival date then no refund. We will how ever try
to re –let and reimburse any difference less our reasonable expenses.
In the
unlikely event that circumstances beyond the owners control results in the
cancellation of the booking then our limit of liability is only to the
extent that all monies paid will be refunded hence the owners or the agents
reserve the right to cancel the booking and be liable only to refund any
monies already paid by the client.
Security
deposit:
In addition to
the Reservation Deposit, a Security Deposit is payable to cover any damage
to the home and/or its contents, telephone bills, cleaning costs other than
those normally incurred in connection with your occupation of the villa.
This is in the region of $250, which is collected by the local agents upon
check-in. The deposit will be refunded soon as possible and not later than
30 days after the client has vacated the property less any deductions if
necessary. In practice the payment is usually not actually charged and that
the credit card slip is destroyed.
